Crowns

If your tooth is damaged (broken or cracked) but not lost, a crown can be used to restore its function, shape and appearance.  You also may need a crown if you have had a root canal or a large filling.

Bridges

A bridge is a restoration option that replaces one or two missing teeth. Your bridge will extend across the area where the teeth are missing and is made up of an artificial tooth or teeth fused between two crowns. The bridge will be held in place by your own teeth on each side of the missing ones.  A bridge is fixed and permanent and cannot be removed

Crowns and Bridges are strong and generally will last ten years or longer if you take good care of them. Brushing and flossing at home is very important along with keeping your regular cleaning and check us appointments.
