I was first introduced to ECDC about 2 Years ago and since my very first meeting its been life changing. I am 47 and was without natural teeth since I was 13 years of age, all my life I struggled with dentures and could never get a good fit, my facial features were starting to shrink due to the deterioration of my bone structure as a result of no teeth.

From my very first meeting with Jill I felt nothing but comfort with the whole ECDC team. My first surgery consisted of a Double Sinus Lift, Artificial Bone Impacted into my upper gums and Four Implants placed into my lower jaw, I was in the Chair from 8 in the morning until around 4 in the afternoon, sounds painful, other than swelling in the facial area and being on a liquid diet for awhile I took 1 Tylenol 3 for the pain. Quite amazing if you ask me.

I was left to heal for about 6 Months then went in for my final surgery to have the implants placed into my upper gums, six in all. This time absolutely no pain killers other than a few Advil, and some swelling and of course the liquid diet…..haha. There was of course other appointments to pick out the teeth get them moulded (Mike your a Genius by the way). Today, I can eat foods just like anybody with real teeth, I brush and floss like everyone else.

But nothing will ever take away the feeling that I experienced biting into that apple for the first time or the taste of that juicy steak of the BBQ. To Dr. Stacey, Dr. Allan, Mike, Jill and all – thank you. You have changed my life forever.
